How to Write a Profit and Loss Statement

We're not going to do it in absolute detail by a textbook if you want. But what we thought we'd just kind of walk down top to bottom and give out this in a sense of how these things are created. The easiest thing in the world should be this thing called revenue, right? Because at the end of the day, if you're not selling anything, the whole thing's probably either you're in the dot-com boom in 1999 or you're making promises that your business model can't cash.
