Why We Celebrate the Birth of Our Blessed Mother and St. John the Baptist

All three of them are born having already either been cleansed of sin or having been preserved from original sin. Something we celebrate in the case of Jesus on an unci-ation on March 25th, exactly nine months before December 25th when we celebrate his birth. In the case of Mary, who's immaculate conception, we celebrate on December 8th when she's conceived in the normal way, but preserved from originalsin in the womb of her mother St. Anne. And then we celebrate her birthday on September 8th, exactly 9 months later.
