The Cross Legged Astronomer

The cross legged position of the oriental astronomer is seen very much as in discord with the specializations that are required by modern astronomy. And what comes out is that it is very much an indicator of something that is effite, but also the demasculated and the cross legging position for the western observer in the orient. These images are very much images of the feminized orient these are cross legged, un comfortable, undifferentiated, unspecialized comportments of the body for an advanced science of astronomy.
