The Young Man's Story
The young man was made first in the empire for his bravery, and he excelled. He joined the service of the empire more for a place to sleep and something to eat than out of love for the fatherland. The emperor recognized talent when he saw it, and it was thanks to the young man and the young man alone that he still sat on the throne. It took three letters and finally the emperor himself coming to the camp for the young man to believe him. They won the day, and with it the war.
