The Atrocities of Boudakas
Tassa describes a massacre and there's no reason to doubt that. She would actually have been quite an unusual ancient commander if her army had behaved any better than that. Cassius Dio describes particular atrocities, which are almost too terrible to even repeat or think about. But nothing gains color like a good atrocity story. Whether we can accept details like that is another matter entirely.
