Morality is a calculation by us as to what works in the society we're in. It might be something that priests and other ethesists remind us of. We can have an inbuilt moral sense that's got a biological basis but it still requires cultural activation and modification. The analogue to that would be our instinct for language. You can't teach maes language because they don't have the biological capacity for it, or not to the degree that we do. Although some parrots can perform able stunts in that regard.
