The Importance of Resilience in Training
I was ranked 59th the year before going into that year. And training for one event is a hard enough task. How do you handle that? Does that put a lot of extra pressure on the body? You've got to have a really smart coach. But ultimately, you've got to be able to listen to your body and what it can take and handle. I'm quite fortunate I could handle it as quite resilient, though my body did start to break down.
