How to Make Markets Attractive or Unattractive
There's a very tight linkage between go-to-market strategy and the product that you build. And so we're always looking for is there a product to be built here that by building it for that audience in that way, unlock something that would be difficult for other people to compete with. So I'm not afraid of crowded markets as long as the startup is trying something different than other people are doing. We did a restaurant tech investment in the middle of COVID mostly because the trends that this founder had identified about restaurant labor were really good.
