The Battle of Milne Bay
Tony says you have fascinating comments on Japan and state control against the US. And I believe he means in World War II because he says, "I'm sure you know about the Battle of Milne Bay where the Japanese invasion force was totally defeated" Do you know that battle, Victor? I think I do. If it's M-I-L-N-E, it's in Papua New Guinea. And I think that was in August of 1942. But I'm pretty sure that that was a very important role of the Australians. That was in reaction to protecting Darwin. It wasn't really until Midway that the real tide turned.
