There were something like, you know, over 900 encampments, maybe more. I've heard that there were 400 in california alone at one point. Ostensibly, it was the banking crisis, but it was also money in politics. It was also debt. The lack of ghood jobs, thinking you'll never be able to retire. It was everything because it was all connected. That's why occupy refusing to have demands, and kind of just saying, the whole system's broken,. Resonated with people.
