As we become wealthier, through deepening the division of labor, we're actuallya increasing the emphasis on virtue. Precursors of many human moral virtues have been found in other great apes. My claim is not that sexual selection created our moral virtues from scratch in our species alone. Rather, sexual sexual selection amplified our standard social primate virtues into uniquely elaborated human forms.
