Is APL Trying to Make You Write Better Code?
APL has a different definition of better and they do the same thing. I don't think APL tries to make you write better code by making certain constructs awkward in any way. So BQN tries to force you in the quote unquote better direction. It's perfectly possible to write bad code in APL. And I'm pretty sure you can writing bad code in any of these array languages.
