The Third Pitfall of Mental Modeling
The idea that we have multiple types of people that we build a product for may intuitively be difficult to accept. The third and final pitfall that you might find as you are trying to apply mental models can be difficult, especially when the models don't necessarily aline. We've already said that every model that you use is incomplete, and this is by definition. If the model was complete, then it would actually become the problem. And so we're looking for models that are incomplete on purpose.
