Robert Highline is supposedly an archetype of devil may care, devil eat the hindmost libertarianism and anybody who reads Highline knows it's the exact opposite. He cared a lot about people. But only after human needs are taken care of in his utopia novel, Beyond this Horizon. The guy who's giving him the torso looks at him appalled and says, oh my God, what kind of people do you think we are? Naturally food and shelter are free. Well, you know, like Adam Smith would approve of at least 50% of all liberal programs for because their objective is to make sure that no child is denied the ability to rise up and reify her potential.
