The Evolution of Battery Investment in Australia
The first handful of batteries that were done in this market were relatively small at the 2030 40 megawatt size which really fall outside the project financing market. As we move up to batteries that are you know 100 megawatts is the minimum that you'd probably want to spend the time project financing and things bigger than that it's worth the transaction costs. What we've seen so far have largely been on a a tolling basis or monthly capacity fee with no market risk so it really is a counter counterparty credit play.
