Supreme Court alone among federal judges is not bound by any code of conduct. There is a code of conduct that applies to other judges and the Supreme Court has said, we looked at that for guidance and we essentially follow it. But there is no enforcement mechanism. So if there's an allegation that a Supreme Court Justice violated the code of conduct they say they follow, there's no way to have that looked at by some sort of independent body to determine whether there was a problem. They police themselves exactly right. A lot of people, particularly Democrats in Washington, are not satisfied with the idea that the justices are policing themselves,. especially because of all of these things that we're talking about here
