The use of music in our green of time is something that I feel like I hear artists and creators talk about a lot. When you play music you fix things. You can make rain come. You can pause time for a moment. Their healing is at the core of what Link does, it's really a game about death. That's so just like what I'm interested in when I write YA, which is like the things we ask of children and then we ask them to curl up. Like they're it's a big and small it's the calamity and the chicken.

We also discuss Gabrielle Zevin’s Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow, and finish with recommendations for new gamers. Recs include:
Wandersong
Chicory
A Short Hike
Cult of the Lamb
Boyfriend Dungeon
Going Under
Wychwood
What Remains of Edith Finch
