Pendleton Will and Mills is a company that has been around since the late 19th century in Pendleton Oregon. The consumer base was mostly indigenous people who bought the blankets they wore them as robes, used them in their homes or offered them as gifts. They were kind of pulling design details from and reinterpreting them from different communities.
