Introduction
The first spark of a two decades long war between the Greeks and the Persians is what modern scholars call the Ionian revolt. The revolt by a group of Ionian Greek cities against their Persian supported tyrants. And against Darius more generally. Evan: Ryan has been focusing on Persia, giving us some of the background that Herodotus's Helena eccentric storytelling either doesn't know or kind of skews. So now we'll turn it over to him.
