The Importance of Maintaining Engagement Overseas
My belief is that authoritarian totalitarian governments fear one thing, popular discontent and popular uprising. And when we present what leadership there needs is they need a bogeyman to control their population. So my point is the thing that they fear most is not fleets of aircraft carriers, tanks, expeditionary logistics,. They fear information. That's one of the key components of regular warfare's information warfare.
