Critan Hieroglyphic

There is no consensus over how many signs ar are comprised in the inventory of signs in the critan hieroglyphic. The writing systems that have that iconicity, that strong iconicity, may point in the direction of a new invention. And my hunch is that we were moving towards the first ar scenaria, that we're dealing with two different languages. But it wouldn't be incompatible to see different languages on on the island of crete.
