I can see why people are mad because it does definitely seem like a rather large mess. I certainly wouldn't argue with the premise that the money could be better spent elsewhere. The economic climate has changed, how much everything costs has changed. This is a different proposition to the one they agreed to after their first cup of tea in the morning. Mia, it's like things are different now. And also, there were clearly big ambitions. Let's take it regional. That will really benefit areas that don't normally get this kind of funding. What a good idea. However, it's added all these layers of complexity that have just made it untenable and I get that.
