CNN's Fareed Zakaria: I will use the moderators privilege here to roll a rhetorical grenade into this discussion and do something I almost never do which is empathize with TV news and answers. And let me lay out what I would say if I were them in response to criticism of them, which is that number one the American public doesn't almost ever care about foreign policy. The United States is so secure that it can fritter away six or eight trillion dollars over a couple of decades lose several thousand people and not get its hair terribly must.
