Epigenetic Inheritance in Humans

"Epigenetic inheritance in humans, does it happen? Well, in reality it probably does. It's most likely to occur in response to things like diet and there's certainly good data from animal systems that this is happening," he says. "Problem is we'll never prove it, certainly not for an individual." He adds: "We're a lousy model system. It makes it incredibly difficult to pick out the signal that says yes, we are psychologically and epigenetically influenced by what happened in previous generations"
