i'm with you, it is eye opening. At the same time, as a consumer of apple devices, i am glad that they are doing it. But for the reasons that you talked about with your anecdote, i don't think that's a good thing. And insomuch as this is a vigilante taking out the bandit of facebook, that's been doing it for ten years, but maybe these other companies are only johnny come lately.
