Hinduism and the Mahabharata
Following the vedas, there is a collection of ancient texts called puranas. They deal with myths and sacred mythic history of the gods and human kind in india. Following the puranas are the great epocs, which are also very important in the teaching and practice of hinduism. And then finally, the upanisha, which are purely spiritual texts that are concerned with the nature and fate of the soul.
