Hyper Parathyroidism - How Do You Treat It?
Parathyroid cancer is a very rare cause of hyper parathyroidism. It's an in-block resection with ipsilateral thyroid and central neck dissection. You're going to do palliative surgery and then give them calcium lowering drugs, such as bisphosphonates. This is one of those cancers where even with metastasis, you might get a resection, just as a palliative measure.
