The other one that I would say was one of the biggest game changers in my strength coaching career was training not to failure. And basically when you train not to failure, you see improvements week after week and you get recovered within the same day. So even if you think about a weight session versus your sport training, if you can separate them by six hours, not train to failure,. You're going to be pretty recovered by the time you get on field or on snow for me up for our kids.
