The Battle Lines of Nature and Society

What passes for timeless enlightenment thought often is developed in response to crises of ism. And it's also important to understand that the boundaries of what it is that constitutesa nature are a battle line, and particularly a battle line for those whose bodies are put to work. These are the battle lines where colonial capitalism seeks to enforce certain kinds of regulatory authority. We might find pathways for liberation through the struggle of working communities out of this kind of this impass by drawing on the hidden histories from which people of colour historically have been silenced.
