A biologist at northern arizona university has been filming fish flapping on desks in her lap for the last decade. She filmed all different kinds of species, and when she played the videos back in slomo saw what's really going on inside that motion. Fish learn to flop for many different reasons - from protecting their babies to laying eggs so they don't get eaten by underwater creatures.
