The four sources of conservatism are theoretical silos, as opposed to being kind of exclusive categories in real life. When you pursue a kind of economic globalism, and when you pursue policies that are constantly federalizing and nationalizing elections,. local communities become less economically capable of setting their own destiny. They start to lose their connection with each other because there's just no emotional connective tissue between them. Local communities often reinforce these ties through personal connections like going to the store or seeing your neighbour. And so i think it's very interesting see the kinds of ratings that a tucker carlson has.
