Is There a Legitimate Scenario in Which a Former President Can Retain Executive Privilege?
I was trying to think about whether there's any legitimate scenario where you would want a former president to be able to retain some executive privilege. We have lots of suggestions from the supeme preme court in previous cases, for example, about richard nixon,. that there probably isn't but the court has lef the door open to the possibility. I can assure you that if donald trump is elected president and serves again in 20 25, every possible damaging conversation about joe byden every potential medical record, anything about his health will get out. If crumpse's an advantage, that stuff willget out. It will be released for his own political gain.
