The Importance of Mixing Genres
I know you're a lorded for how you mix genres often in the same story. And you do, but do you have a favorite genre to work in? That is a hard question to answer as a reader. My favorite genre is is horror. Is it really cool? Yeah, yeah and for movies as well that I will read a ghost story given the opportunity before I read anything else. Or I will watch a scary movie before watching anything else. But I am a pretty restless writer. When I started out, I didn't particularly think that I was mixing genres.
