The original series runs from like 66 or 67 to 69 and then it gets canceled and then it becomes super popular in syndication. There's this sustained fan base for it that finds a way to like organize and put on these conventions, which was hard to do before the internet existed. And then block and then blockbuster movies happened in the 80s like and that just kind of changed a lot about how fandom works also. So there's not a Tolkien that I hadn't really thought about that. That's a good opportunity for me to tell everybody how much I know about Star Trek but I don't think it's as directly applicable applicable here. Sure sure sure sureSure.
