Grid Modernization - What's the Share of Investment?
Trent: I was really happy to use this Grid Edge Innovation Summit to reveal the first phase of the research that I've been conducting for the past couple of months. For the first phase, we have reviewed 19 investor-owned utilities. They regulated filings for grid modernization either through their general rate case or through their grid modernization as specific plans. What our research found is that those 19 IOUs are filed for $18 billion of investment in grid modernization.
