What Are the Most Valuable Data Sources?
Satellite data is very rich and has driven a ton of chang and advance in our field. We're trying to add a third dimension to that two dimensional picture that we currently have. The physics of what's happening at the bottom, how it's sliding, your physics of how the ice itself is deforming are not captured by the surface. Those things get smoothed out by the time you see them at the sriteri. And so in so far as these processes can really drive change and govern the fundamental physics ofHow the ice flo then the surface measurements are inadequate on their own.
