"It's really all about relationships. I can do anything if I enjoy the people I'm with," she says. "Sometimes we get to a point where you've done the thousandth procedure or written the hundredth paper submitted the millionth grant, got slapped around for a gazillion times that you're not good enough." She adds: "If we just stay here and spread those roots out wider and go deeper instead of uproading...I'll grow wherever"
