Leaders can make a big difference in the lives of others if they take a little bit of time to make a difference in themselves. Bob Sutton is a management professor at Stanford, and he's famous for writing the book, Good Boss, Bad Boss. A good boss's belief that because I wield power over others, I am at great risk of acting like an insensitive jerk and not realizing it. And boy, I'll tell you, I can resonate with that.
