I Don't Think Artificial Intelligence Will Kill Our World

I don't think artificial intelligence is going to kill our and slave us all. And I agree with your worry about the aircraft carriers in the South China Sea. But precisely the problem there is those are not high tech enough. There are big things that have a long history dating back to World War two, and we haven't improved them enough. It's a turf where China even without the swarms of drones, maybe just using hypersonics can take out our aircraft carriers we need something better. My sense is that we're actually on on a course to replicate the British predicament circa 1940,. We're pursuing quite reckless policies in Eastern Europe in the Middle East and in the Far East.
