We should always be asking whenever we consume anything what are the incentives of this person for creating this thing hmmYeah I mean it's cliche but charlie monger says show me the incentives and I'll show you the result yeah right. that probably doesn't need to be expanded upon...but by the same token it makes me think that we should always be asked what are the incentives in a way that is helpful for that person too. That kind of simplifies the world if you never have faulty expectations for a person because you never expect them to act out of alignment to their best self-interest which forces you to align yours with theirs.
