The Future of Alzheimer's Dementia
Denepazil is the bog-standard drug for Alzheimer's dementia. It might have some effect for the first couple of years, and then it probably doesn't. There is another drug that he could go on called mamantium which they start having much more periods of aggression or hallucinations. But once you've gone on to mamantIUM, there isn't really anywhere to go after that. So these drugs are all things which can treat the symptoms, but unfortunately they don't treat the underlying causes.
