The Attention Economy of Social Media

I don't know if anybody ever looks deeply into a photo to think about what was going on there. Just the ephemeral nature of Instagram or any social media. It's you get like maybe one or two seconds of someone's attention and then they're on to the next thing. The attention economy. That's why books are so nice because you can just sit down, you know, relax in your own time and spend time with the photos.
