i am kind of looking at horrorat childhood is now, like the landscape of what it means to be a kid has changed so drastically since i was a kid. I remember my parents and some of their friends were so kind of drastic that they would turn off the t v when the commercials came on. They wanted to minimize any kind of influence. Same my college entrance essay was about how my mam tricked me into thinking you could only turn t v on and off, and the only channel was p b s. That was a big shee. Kept me in the dark till i was about ten. On that front, i was extra nerved when i was sick home from school
