i think that language of life where we are looking for comfort, convenience and control is all to fiercely protect ourselves. And i think comes from places where we don't actually believe that the god of all comfort longs to be with us in ways that can bring a different kind of freedom. We're meant to receive, rerent to received from god, ad were meant to receive from others. It is a discipline and a work within ourselves that we're invited to, and it can't really be done in isolation.
