Lorraine Wilson and Wendy Evans had been missing for almost 21 months. An elderly couple found their bodies in a rubbish dump near Murphy's Creek, 30km northeast of Toowoomba. Amongst the personal belongings dumped throughout the site was a transistor radio with Lorraine's name engraved on the back. Their killer had made no attempt to hide the bodies.
