The Importance of Morality

People have tried to find very complex, sophisticated sounding ways of saying nothing matters and I can do whatever I want. But that's what the human heart has been trying to tell man since time immorium. It's incivility. We see this even in the legal system where if you believe that man is a moral agent who will have to suffer either eternal hell or enjoy the beatific vision, you treat him differently. And so prison becomes merely about punishment and no longer about correcting man. Realigning his soul to the good.
