The start up s made a second round of layoffs. The same sorts who spoke to trunch, said the company was laying off staff due to what it described as, quote, extreme cost cutting. apple also announced that they were going to slow hiring next year. That's different than laying people off, though i think a lot of people tthis is really bad news.
