School choice is a rising tide that lits all votes in case 12 education. But the same people who oppose funding students directly would allow for more families to access educational opportunities. The average private school tuition in chicago, i want to say, is only like 13 thousand dollars per kid. Why not just give that money to the parents and let them figure it out?
