Jose Elias's Story

Puerto Diana is a village along the Paraguay River, on the northeast border with Brazil. People in Puerto Diana either fish in the river or hunt in the forest to put food on their tables. Jose elias and his neighbors sometimes feel like they live in total isolation, until it comes to soccer or food boil. Food boil offers them a link between their community and the rest of their country.
