Introduction

Rocky Duant is co-founder and CEO of Covaren, a company that develops artificial intelligence for the next generation of robotic automation. He was one of the very first hires at OpenAI where he pioneered some of the earliest meta-learning work. Rocky invented an architecture actually quite similar to today's attention mechanisms which became popularized through the transformer. In 2017, at age 23, Rocky left OpenAI and co-founded Covariant, where he still today is the CTO.
